Christian Poterson stage name C-POT was born October 31,1993 in Central Islip New York. He was one of two children in a family of four. His entire childhood he was surrounded by music. His father Christopher Poterson was an avid music producer, cinematographer, as well as manager for many artists in the Long Island, NY area. C-POT grew up going to acting school and being heavily involved in theatre production. Once C-POT hit his late teen years he had decided to go the scholarly route and get his degree in economics at the University at Albany (SUNY). However like many other college students, college didn’t lead him in the exact path he thought it would. Soon realizing he was not to fond of a nine to five job he began to focus on his music. Which to him was his last route before going back to school. C-POT grew up with a studio in his house and only decided to use it to its full potential in the summer of 2013.
