The Proppa Papa got his start djing in 1993 after attending his first rave called Psychosis in Chicago and witnessing Richie Hawtin and DJ Hyperactive. Drawn to house and techno immediately, his dj style followed and ranges from all styles of house and techno. He has opened for acts such as Mark Grant, Halo, Cyberjive, Boo Williams, and Slater Hogan on the house tip and Shiva, Twonz, Mike Huckaby and ESP Woody McBride on the techno tip. Depending on the night you can hear a super deep & funky house set or a bangin minimal/hard techno set. After taking an 8 year hiatus from the scene he loved so much, he started back again in September 2014. Cherishing everyone he has ever played with, his true love comes from just spinning records with the amazing friends he has met along the way, whether in the club or in the basement of his own home.
