Chris Railton is a DJ from Newcastle upon Tyne, England, and has been a keen lover of electronic music since the early nineties.

He moved to London in 1998, and after a brief spell travelling the world experiencing various musical cultures, he decided to return to London in 2001.

Throughout the next 5 years he reaffirmed his commitment to electronic music and began to learn his passion for the art of being a DJ.

In 2006, in a venture to promote up and coming DJ's, he started his own electronic promotion. Velcro Format took up residency in Public Life, Commercial Street, London for 2-3 years until early 2009. A highly popular promotion cut short by the demise of the venue.

He continued to play in small bars and parties across the capital until taking a sabbatical from music to explore other passions in 2010.

In 2012 he reignited his passion for electronic music and returned to the decks playing musical sets which follow a path through techno and house music.
