Chris Berta has been playing with music since he was a kid growing up in Columbus, Ohio. Living in the nucleus of the techno and house music scene, Detroit and Chicago, Chris had the opportunity to grow up in the early days of electronic music and was heavily influenced by Detroit Techno.

Beginning his career as a DJ and Producer in 1997, Berta has worked in many Record Shops and has played in clubs, festivals and warehouse parties from New York to San Diego and everywhere in between. Chris Berta’s influences range from Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream to Daft Punk and Baby Ford.

Recently in 2008, Chris Berta moved from the East Coast/Mid West to sunny San Diego, where his musical journey expands and develops every day into the dark reaches of the SoCal Underground scene.
