Chris Marsden

From England, grew up on soul, funk, 2 tone/ska, dub, post punk, pop synth, new wave/romantic, electronic stuff of 70s/ 80s. Avid clubber then and onto house/acid/raves of late 80s early 90s. Still love all music/clubbing/sunsets/chill out of then and now .

I currently live on Ibiza and love the vibe, music and inspiration from the island. The influence DJs like Alfredo, Leo Mas, Nelo, Cirillo, Pippi, Joan Ribas and Jose Padilla had on music, the island and the world are legendary.

Andrew Weatherall a big influence on my musical taste, he was a magician. Also Boys Own, Flying, Oakenfolds early stuff, Justin Robertson, David Holmes, Dust/Chemical brothers, Heavenly Social, Leftfield, Underworld, Orbital, Massive Attack.

I'm a true believer in the Balearic idea of Danny Rampling, Trevor Fung, Johnny Walker, Nicky Holloway. Any music can be played as long as it's good, no genre matters!
