Chris Garcia aka DJ Vega Garcia is a Bay Area native. When it comes to music he is all over the board. He was inspired by his older brothers music. "As a kid growing up in the 80's, I listen to a lot of British New Wave. My brother was playing Depeche Mode, New Order, The Smiths etc." In the 90's Chris was into Heavy Metal. He played Bass Guitar in Metal band's when he was in high school and college. In the late 90's his friends took him to big Rave's in Oakland Ca. "In the early 90's I liked Techno. In the late 90's I discovered Trance and fell in love with it." DJ Vega picked up two turntables and a mixer from a DJ friend that taught him how to mix. That year was 1999. In the early 2000's DJ Vega was playing Funky House and Trance. In 2005 he started playing Soulful & Deep House Music. Today DJ Vega Garcia is one of the best underground DJ's in the world.
