After years of playing the iconic clubs of Boston, singer/songwriter Chris Emerson recorded a song called, All Because of You, which won in the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest. This caught the attention of Sony Pictures, who picked it up for the smash hit TV series, Dawson's Creek. He was signed with Empire/BMG in NYC, where he recorded his self-titled debut. He hit the road on a year-long, national media tour, promoting the single, visiting more than 300 hit radio stations, which spun 3 Top 30 Billboard Hits. A tour followed opening for Hootie & the Blowfish, Foreigner, Blues Traveler, Sugar Ray, Sean Colvin and the legendary Ray Charles! Emerson's newest musical journey is a Vocal/House project called Montasia, produced by club sensation, DJ Tony Romanello of Montreal, on the newly formed, Switching Records. Look for the first single to drop early April 2017
