it’s just two words, though misused and maligned, like chick-flick; pop culture just looooves these pithy little word play phrases to put women down.
In personality, interactions, and relationships I’m more dog. I approach life, social interactions like… a dog–
indiscriminate,
chaotic,
unconditional,
without discretion or forethought,
headlong.
But I have also aspired, my whole life, to be aloof, mysterious, and demure like a cat.
I’ve learned that we’re temporary and often replaceable and love is a never ending emotion so, it’s really not a problem to indiscriminately love everyone but I want to love like a cat,
aloof,
mysterious,
demure,
just like it doesn’t even matter.
I’m, however, cursed with a dog love. But it’s okay that I love like a dog. I mean, dogs are the symbol of courage, fidelity, and unswerving devotion.
Cats just represent the aura of the unknown mysteries, sensuality, and detachment. I aspire to have those qualities.
