Made.com launched in March 2010 as a revolutionary new e-business selling affordable, designer furniture that connects buyers direct with manufacturers. Made.com is the brainchild of 30 year-old serial entrepreneur Ning Li who co-founded the firm with Julien Callède and Chloe Macintosh in April 2010. Made.com is about selling designer furniture at attractive prices, direct from factories to consumers. With all its business conducted online, Made.com cuts out the middle man to drastically reduce the prices of its high quality products. Their mission is to aggregate consumer demand, connecting buyers of high-quality, design-led furniture directly with manufacturers, at dramatically reduced prices (75% rebate when compared to High Street prices). Over the year they have expanded their team in Notting Hill and Shanghai to 80 employees.
