Dj CHILL-E CV PAST Dj Chill-E, one of the coolest men on the planet, has been collecting records since the age of 13. Early influences include Parliament, Funkadelic, Jimi Hendrix & Miles Davies, and whilst living in Melbourne playing in several percussion bands exploring global rhythms from Africa, South America & Cuba. Moving to the Tropical North Australian paradise of Cairns in 1983 has proved to be one of the main inspirations in his musical career, and it is this area where he has set up home and made the progression from live percussionist @ outdoor parties (such as Rhythmajik Kulture, Shockwave and the original beach parties) to one of Cairns's finest Dj's. Chill-E's Dj career originated with a residency @ Silky, an underground global dance music organisation based in UK and Australia. From the original Fluid boat parties on the Great Barrier Reef, thru the Silky Sundaze chill-out sessions, the institution that is Deep North, turning the Met Bar into a dance music haven 2003-20
