Chemogen first appeared as a DJ on NYE 2007 and quickly became a regular act at many of Cape Town's venues. In 2009, after honing his production skills as part of a collaborative project, he unleashed the first solo live set.
Since then he's developed a stellar reputation as both a talented DJ as well as a meticulous producer, putting out chart topping releases through One Foot Groove - who he's been signed to since 2007 - and performing for renowned promoters such as Vortex, Rezonance, Organik, Psynopticz, Disasterpeace, The Village, Sensitive, MMD, Beartrap, Mungus Fungus, Bent & Twisted and more.
In 2012, he was proud to announce his new position as a Beartrap Productions resident DJ.
