From discovering dance music in 1988 to spinning vinyl in the early ’90s, Mark Henderson has been immersed in the scene for decades. Making his professional DJ debut in 1994, his sound took a defining turn in 1999, inspired by the iconic Hedkandi movement — shaping his uplifting, groove-led approach to house music.

Now based in Bangkok, Mark is Hedkandi Resident DJ for Asia and creator of House Your Weekend, a weekly mix series and event brand showcasing quality house music, from soulful and vocal grooves to disco, funky and peak-time cuts. His sets have taken him across standout venues and parties including W Hotel, Octave, SO/ Bangkok, Iron Balls, Veyla, Baccarat, Sato-san, The Club and Lights Out.

As part of Team Kandi, Mark also helps produce the Hedkandi radio show presented by Mark Doyle, while his House Your Weekend podcast continues to connect with listeners worldwide and regularly charts on Mixcloud.
