César Bastón is an Amsterdam based Spaniard. Playing predominantly Techno, his taste for music ranges many genres, which influences him in his choice of music and structure in his sets. When designing his sets, Cesar prepares the mood he wants to bring to the dance floor. He likes to deliver music that is carefully curated and new. Either playing a more melodic techno set or a rather night-dark one, his sets are a reflection of his own taste.
César prepared himself as DJ in the DJ School Amsterdam under the coaching of Folker Zwart. César has played at Club Panama, Club NL and Club Church in Amsterdam. While his education as an engineer forces him to think in a linear fashion, when playing he trusts his feelings and instincts over his rational brain. His joy to perform goes hand in hand with the joy he can bring to his audience.
His techno influences range broadly, from Answer Code Request to John Digweed, or the likes of Edit Select, Polar Inertia, Luke Slater...
