Christian Cortes is an Upcoming DJ/Producer from Albany, NY. He began to DJ in College when friends would ask him to put on music at parties. People started to take notice that he had an ear for new music and the ability to tend to the parties atmosphere, keeping the crowd dancing. He eventually invested in some DJ equipment, an old pair of speakers, and a couple of party lights, which he used to perform at parties. He slowly started to learn the art of mixing and by the end of his senior year he was playing at parties or local bars up to three times a week. Recently Christian has put DJing on the back-burner to focus on his own original productions and plans to release his Debut EP entitled, "Retro-Futurism" in the Fall of 2012.
