A Car Warming Party is a party not so traditionally held within approximately 90 days of buying a new Car. It is an occasion for the hosts to present their new Car to their friends, post purchase. Car Warming Parties are generally informal with no real planned activities, besides a tour of the Car. Gifts are customarily necessary and usually consist of something to be enjoyed during the party, such as a bottle of Gin. In the 90's there was a tendency for things to get a little out of control, particularly in the absence of my parents. Invariably, gatecrashers would use vehicles as high power sound systems for mobile raves. The good old days......well, not so much when it was my car....
