With her background in architecture CASHU started organizing street parties and occupations in São Paulo downtown, with the VOODOOHOP collective. In this context she created the MAMBA NEGRA, with Laura Diaz, party with a focus on occupying abandoned spaces with a distinct underground sound, investing in live shows. Musically her research moves through minimal techno, house and Afrobrazilian rhythms. Mixing strong beats with smooth, acid tinged melodies, her set subtly weaves have an warm and mysterious atmosphere. CASHU is resident at MAMBA NEGRA, CARLOS CAPSLOCK and VODOOHOP, three recognized parties by indenpended scene from São Paulo. Playing currently in other parties who continue this movement.
