World-famous Captain Mikey was born following an affair between an excommunicated nun and a farm-hand-turned-want-to-be astronaut. Neglected in favor of his parents' obsession with time-travel, the lad grew up to rock college radio from 1995-2007 through a mix of obscure musicians, grits, skits, and a suspicious love of Canada. In 2012, he was drafted out of retirement to restore "sexy" to the airwaves. Since then, he has been back on his home station, WPNR 90.7FM in Utica, NY every Sunday at 9pm. By 2015, daydreams of global conquest had blurred the Captain's judgment as his show was picked up by WCVF 88.9FM in Fredonia, NY Sundays at 8pm.

Details of Captain Mikey's personal life are kept tightly under wraps. When not DJing, his top-secret captaining duties are all-consuming. Rumor has it, he lives in an underground bunker in Guam, sharing the top half of a bunk bed with Dick Cheney; a rumor the Captain vehemently denies.
