DJ Calvin Ray (DJCR) hails from Indiana, United States. Since 2006, he has been experimenting and producing tracks and found comfort zone in electronic and deep house music. Since 2012, he continues to produce and DJ as well as producing weekly mixes.
Ray has often considered Indonesia as his "second" home and makes annual trip to visit his dad. It has been this country that has influenced him the most in developing new innovations and searching quality tracks.
Outside of DJing, Calvin is a business and marketing consultant with experience in marketing communications, public relations and government work, even having served in the legislative session in his home state in Indiana.
His inspirations include: Indonesia based DJ Halim Ardie and DJ Romi Idris as well as international influences such as Maya Jane Coles, MK, Dale Howard, Marc O'Tool, Flashmob, Stereo Express, Leftwing & Kody and many more.
Hobbies include: Coffee, cooking, fine men'swear and scotch whisky.
