Byron Williams is very familiar with the DJ scene, whether it be working as a club manager or being a resident DJ at clubs in and around Pretoria.
His passion for music came about during his time at a club called Good 4 Fellas in Hatfield, Pretoria. He started off slowly and got the hang of things by experimenting with Hip hop and R&B. Before long he was approached by the club owner of Good 4 Fellas and was offered a residency – Funky Fridays – in the cocktail bar. It was during this time that he found his love of music – House Music. Good 4 Fellas eventually closed down and DJ B-Iron had to move onto greener pastures.
Due to popular demand and word of mouth, DJ B-Iron was given a residency at an up and coming News Café in Zambesi, Pretoria. He eventually regained his positive attitude on life and realized that his journey was just beginning.
Not long after he met up with an old DJ friend who had opened up his own DJ Company – United DJ’s.
