I am a grassroots, social justice activist. I provide advocacy strategies for women to have the right to say yes to the sex she does want and no to the sex she doesn't want, and larger issues related to gender, race, class, sex and sexuality. Access to the full range of reproductive health services for all women regardless of reason and without apology is my passion.

I just wrote and narrated a documentary "We Always Resist: Trust Black Women" this film is a statement and call to action on what Black women have been doing to protect ourselves and our families.

Aside from my activism work I enjoy exploring the beautiful brownstone neighborhoods, cafes and mom and pop venues in Brooklyn, feeling virtually invisible in the hustle and bustle of Manhattan, and disappearing in underground jazz/blues clubs to catch incredible live music.

I value my lessons so I have no complaints.
