Ange started playing Hip Hop at the age of 16. She then progressed to techno drank gin, and puffed her way through deep house. In 2001 she was selected to attend the Red Bull Academy in London. As her musical journey progressed, she moved onto tequila and upped the tempo, playing all shades of house, from vocal through to tech. For the next 20 years Ange has honed her skills and built a musical knowledge base that she draws on for inspiration and creative expression through music.
Over the years her sound has evolved and become more diverse. Playing all kinds of sound systems from huge festival rigs to intimate club set-ups, quality sound is paramount for Ange. She plays for love not money so the pay-off is that feeling you get when the perfect blend of sound hits your soul and raises your consciousness.
As a promoter Ange was the first DJ to run a monthly night at Ink Bar and one of the original resident DJ’s. Her monthly night Bump ran for 8 years and became a staple of the scene.
