BTTB X-210 - Neotropic.
This is the first of three mixes Riz Maslen aka Neotropic recorded for the BTTB-X-Series (one in 2005, another one in 2009). In the 80s she moved to London, discovered Acid House and found herself in the studio of Future Sound of London, where some of her vocals were recorded (I think she even appeared on a Top of the Pops performance by FSOL). After that she played Keyboard for The Beloved and then started producing own tunes. The first was released on Different Drummer (label by Rockers HiFi), then she landed on ntone, which was a sub label by Ninja Tune. After having released three albums in 1996, 1998 and 2001 she recorded this session for BTTB.
