Muscat, Oman
After playing guitar in the pit for musicals and theatre shows, I started gigging locally, crafting backing tracks on an old Fostex X26 that used to slow down and change key as it heated up. As technology progressed through MiniDiscs, DAT, and MP3, I played in bands across Spain and the Middle East, including top hotels like the InterContinental in Muscat and Crowne Plaza in Dubai.
After a stint back in the UK teaching, recording, and playing with tribute acts like The Album Project, I am now back in Oman. These days, I perform across diverse styles—playing in Irish and jazz bands and delivering live sets at venues like the Countdown Sports Lounge at the Kempinski Hotel Muscat. My style blends varied influences, with blues and Pink Floyd at the core, anchored by a Knopfler-inspired fingerpicking right hand.
