Bryan Essary may be a west coaster, but this Kansas City native has Midwest roots in House Music. Essary, who got his first turntables more than 20 years ago, has developed a flavor all his own. He's traveled and played across the globe, and those experiences are reflected in his sound. Essary has been deeply influenced by Detroit, Chicago and New York and has a strong appreciation for the underground. The DJ draws his inspiration from Kraftwerk, the early Chicago sound and R&B, but his selections are varied and keep listeners guessing.
