I am a native of Memphis, TN and grew up surrounded by musicians (sometimes neighbors, even) like Isaac Hayes, Rufus Thomas, Carla Thomas, the BarKays, Al Green, and Kurt Whalem. Memphis is also home to Deedee Bridgewater, Jerry Lee Lewis, Maurice White of EW&F, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and the birthplace of Aretha Franklin.

I grew up active in music, studying violin and piano - playing viola in Memphis Youth Symphony. During college, I discovered my singing voice and have performed mostly as an amateur but have done paid work on occasion.

I am currently featured as a singer in a project called MovieTunes, scheduled to launch later in 2026 on D'Herin Records.
