I’ve been deep into drum & bass since the early 1990s, with LTJ Bukem and all the artists, too many to mention, shaping much of my musical taste and inspiration. Under the alias Montana—a nod to the spray paints my friends used in the Graff scene—I released a track featured on PHD & DRS – Ascendant Moods / Ascendant Grooves back in 1999. The track, Deep Down, was named in homage to MC Conrad. Now 50, I’m still driven by the same love for atmospheric, soulful, and progressive D&B.
