Brian Eckford began his professional music career at the age of 19 by winning a DJ contest that granted him a residency at a local nightclub. Over the next few years, Brian continued to DJ at various clubs and at a local mobile DJ business. Countless Weddings, Graduations, Christmas Parties and Club Nights later; Brian was finally given the break he had been waiting for. After an appearance on MTV as a game show participant, Brian was offered something he had always dreamed of - a chance to DJ on MTV. After guest appearances on MTV Select, Brian carried his momentum forward and began to DJ for various cruise lines all over the world. After 8 years at sea and many trips around the globe, Brian returned home to start his own Mobile DJ Business and continued to DJ his own events; as well as residencies at clubs all over Vancouver Island and the Mainland. 23 years since his first gig; Brian is best known now for his versatility and an uncanny knack to play any genre of music for any crowd
