Brian Martinez “DJ Brian”
DJ Brian was born and raised in East Harlem where he continues to reside. Introduced to Latin music by his mother Maritza Morales, DJ Brian instantly was seduced by the music. He became more immersed when listening to his uncle Frankie Morales who sang with Tito Puente for ten years. His love for Latin music made him gravitate towards his uncle Gilbert Romero who inspired him and taught him to become the DJ he is today. Learning the craft well he was asked to DJ at parties and people took notice. However, his big break came at the age of 21 when he was asked to be DJ at The Magannet. former DJ of La la maganette Julio de Burgos LOUNGE 108 IN EAST HARLEM AND all of Harlem salsa events Uptown Grant State Building Latin Lounge and more he was also the guest DJ in the past SALSA SUNDAY AT ROOM 55 DOWNTOWN and the salsa Cruise people today can still him him play in different venues DJ Brian is a DJ and knows how to put people to dance and enjoy the music
