NeeHigh
NeeHigh, a.k.a. Madison, Wisconsin native Brett Olstadt, is no newcomer to the electronic music scene. NeeHigh has been DJing since 1993 and has been producing music since 2002, with a short break where he played bass in the band Old Buffalo Money. From musical stock, his trumpet playing grandfather and drummer father, both well-known musicians in their own right, taught him well, and NeeHigh grew up on stage, seated in a chair behind his dad's floor tom learning the art of performance and percussive pattern. NeeHigh is best known for playing techno, electro, hardcore, and hiphop, but his style runs the gamut: ambient, downtempo, electro, breaks, house, techno, booty, IDM, hardcore, breakcore, drum & bass, jungle, reggae, dancehall, dub, ska, dubstep, triphop, hiphop, crunk, rock, punk, metal, and cheese are in his arsenal. Extending his love of music as a supporter of and entrepreneur within the music scene, NeeHigh and Michael Desbarres owned Trim Records in Madison WI.
