Meet Whitebird who left a distinctive imprint on the global music landscape.
Originally from Serbia, Whitebird dove into DJing and production in late ’80s Paris. As a pioneer, he became one of the first Europeans signed to the legendary Strictly Rhythm label, paving the way for a truly adventurous career.
Before joining PIAS/Noisetraxx as artistic director, where he helped steer the label’s vision alongside Junior Jack, Whitebird worked as an A&R at Universal’s Private Life imprint. There, he contributed to major European hits like Los del Mar’s “Macarena,” Gala’s “Freed from Desire,” Rozalla’s “Everybody’s Free,” and many more.
He later stood behind Burning House, the innovative dance label under Sony Music, further cementing his influence across the industry.
