I began DJing after years in the rave community - I bought a used Numark battle mixer, and a set of Numark TT-USB turntables with belt drive, as that's all I could afford. Digging for records in Vancouver, and playing my first few shows using the boxes the erratic turntables came in was at times, a real treat.
My favourite is setting a mood, presenting a feeling, trying to work with a space and a group to have a shared experience that transcends what otherwise could be. I love music. I love people, and when those two things come together I'm in love. Thank you for listening.
