Countertenor, Conductor
B.A. with Honors in Music Performance–Voice/Conducting from Gustavus Adolphus College studying with Dale Kruse, Karle Erickson and Kenneth Jennings (Prof. Emeritus, St. Olaf Choir). He remains the only person to stage and conduct a full-scale operatic production as the college reaches it’s sesquicentennial. He holds a Certificate of Voice from UC Santa Barbara studying under Elizabeth Mannion, Steven Rickards, Thomas Grubb and Paulina Stark. In 2005 he was invited to earn credits from The Juilliard School for his work in Choral Music. With over 150 arts productions, extensive American and European touring, and multiple recordings in voice and conducting with the finest musicians, Mr. Ford maintains an active artistic schedule.
In 2004 he Founded Opus Ensemble New York, dedicated to teaching literacy through music to at risk youth. Since arriving at Children’s Aid Society in 2006, Mr. Ford was named Music Director of the Child
