Books & Grounds is a new podcast that sets its sights on things that we (Heath Walton & Jared Carter) find enjoyable. If you enjoy something, the experience of that joy does not yet seem complete until you share it with other people. There are plenty of podcasts that give reviews, both positive and negative. This podcast, however, dedicates its energies to those things that affect us in a positive way. For example, if one of us finds a coffee shop worth visiting or a book worth reading, we will share that experience with you. While our main focus will be on books and coffee, we are not limited to those subjects. If we have a thought that we believe may impact in a positive way, we may post about it. If we have a reflection on an experience that we believe will bring joy to others, we will post about it. If a particular brand of coffee was spectacular, we will recommend it.
