Raised in a musical family Boj developed a taste for music at an early age. Banging on drum kits through his early teens he developed a fascination for the 5/4 beat of Dave Brubeck's Take Five. After saving up his lunch money, he was finally able to buy his first favourite record. Little did he know this would develop into a full fledged vinyl addiction.
Now, 14 years later, Boj is an Amsterdam based crate digger with a collection ranging from world music rarities to obscure disco, house, and dubby breakbeats. Constantly kicking against the boundaries of genres Boj's sets tend to have a deeper layer, keeping the crowd in full focus, no matter how big the club or stage is. With his track selection and extravert persona he manages to constantly surprise his audience, engaging them in a joint vibe that lasts throughout the night.
With an impressive resume that boast venues in and around Amsterdam such as Claire, Paradiso, Pip Den Haag, Woodstock, local favourite Skatecafé..
