I moved back to the Okanogan area in 2004 and realized that Silas Goggiel had been writing/performing hip hop for quite some time(I had not really seen much of him since he moved to Omak before high school). Huck had also been writing songs for quite some time and had recently recorded a few with a producer he met while in Germany.

We started Sick Donkey Records in late 2004 by the three of us bringing the German producer (Jan aka Mr Sounder) and his friend Elias to the US, building a studio in an old chicken coop at the Japanese Camp and with the help of Colin, buying state of the art studio gear. We started recording in January of '05 doing about around 20 songs that we gave out as burnt CD's to our friends titled 'Sick Donkey Records Pre-mixs'. Although some of what we did then was not-so-conscious, we got a great response from locals both young and old. There are still people talking about and playing our first recordings around Washington state.
