In the third episode of Mixcloud Presents: The Inside Track, Mixcloud Co-Founder and CEO Nico Perez is joined by writer, editor and artist Whitney Wei.

Based in Berlin, Whitney Wei is the former Editor-in-Chief of the electronic music platform Resident Advisor, and prior to that, had a spell as the Editor-in-Chief of Electronic Beats, the music marketing program of Deutsche Telekom. Throughout her career, Whitney has written extensively about club culture and experimental dance music scenes. Her words have appeared in The Guardian, Vogue US, Highsnobiety, Pitchfork, and Numéro Berlin among others. 

Whitney talks about her upbringing in Maine, USA, discovering Electronic music, her time living in New York, her stint at Resident Advisor and her upcoming book. They also discuss the Taipei club scene and what makes it tick, consuming art in the age of AI, Berlin nightlife and why good editors are essential in journalism.
