In the second episode of our original podcast series, Mixcloud Presents: The Inside Track, Mixcloud Co-Founder and CEO Nico Perez is joined by Charlie Bones, a DJ, radio host and founder of Do!! You!!! Radio. Charlie is a mainstay of independent radio and was a resident at NTS Radio for over 10 years, hosting its now legendary breakfast show before setting up his own platform in 2021. He has also performed DJ sets throughout the UK and beyond for the likes of Boiler Room, GALA Festival and Corsica Studios.

Charlie talks about his journey through radio, how he got started and his time at NTS. He shares his love of Prince, the process of gaining the trust of artists, finding a physical space for Do!! You!!! Radio and how he discovers new music. They also discuss the London nightlife scene of the 2000s, whether Charlie considered making his own music and more.
