In 2008 Bix and Peter Clasen were asked to perform music during a fashion show by Y-Dress.
Electro Trip Hop duo Bix Medard is born.
The first selftitled album is released in februari 2009 on the Altaïr Musik label. November 2009; release of the remix CD “Bix Medard - Y-dress?”, this album is a logic result of the collaboration between Bix Medard and Y-dress?. The Bix Medard tunes appear in special remixed versions, made to fit the fashion shows by Y-dress? (pronounced Why dress?).
The CD premiered in Tokyo on november the 27th 2009. In Mai 2010 “Bix Medard - Y-dress?” reaches #29 in the CMJ charts.
"Take a deep breath" the third album is released in november 2011. A dark, breathy, very personal album.
