Kris aka BITVMEN made his first musical attempts in the hip-hop scene in 2003 as "krisskross". During this time he developed his technical interest in making and appropriating the art of playing vinyl. In 2005, at the age of 17, Kris curiously searched his older sister's music cassettes and found some 90s techno / house tapes. On this day, his electronic music fable began to grow steadily and until today he has a great passion for collecting tracks from the past.

His career as a DJ for electronic music began in 2008 as "Chris Kyrill" in his hometown #Weimar in the former Locca club. From there, he traveled through the vast expanses of rave culture.
In 2010 Kris started the chapter Sound Design, a Universe in the Universe, as he likes to call it. This complex passion carries many blossoms and will continue to produce some fruits that we can consume in the future.

Today the name "BITVMEN" stands for Experimental Ambient Techno, Minimal and House in combination with a oldshool journey.
