Creator of the Lanky Beat website www.lankybeat.com with it's comprehensive Lankypedia of Lancashire bands from 1955 to 1975, Bill Hart went on to founder Lankykats rock music charity collective www.lankykats.com ; and a music venue for live music at The Standish Unity Club in the heart of Lancashire.
From there Bill went on to present The Lanky Beat Show on Hospital Radio Wrightington. http://hospitalradiowrightington.co.uk/. Showcasing the very best in rock music of the last 50 years, tracks are performed mainly by local musicians which also feature special guest interviews, together with many contributions from rock 'n rollers from overseas.
The shows' material is carefully chosen to put The Red Rose County of Lancashire firmly on the world's rock 'n roll map.
