Berte 'Federico aka DJ Berto was born on 14/07/1981 in Bologna. The seeds of his passion for music grew thanks his brother, a keen collector of vinyl records from the early 90's. This gave Berto, exposure to house, techno, snap Africa bambataa, moby and various styles of alternative rock. In '98 Berto became a keen visitor to Echoes & Cocorico', riviera's best club, while years later trips were made to Ibiza and more importantly, a life changing experience, in Frankfurt, at cocoon club. It was at cocoon were Berto began to listen to avant garde music with DJs such as Karotte and genres such as funky house, Chicago house and tribal house mix with experimental electronic.
