The love of music started at a very tender age, where he started learning the keyboard and Marimba at age 8. at the age of 12 he picked up the guitar with the help of his late cousin Riddim T, who was a session musician with the ability to play any musical instrument you can think of. He later started playing with the Prophecy sound system which was also founded by his older brother Richard popularly known around the country as The GENERAL or Selassie. The retiring of the General from the soundsystem culture saw Kingdavid and Riddim T forming a soundsystem called Taurus Sound which evolved to a better and bigger soundsystem, SilverHawk which saw Riddim T and Kingdavid play among very big names in the industry like Silverstone , Stereo One , Madhouse, Star Time But to name a few. SilverHawk played strictly vinyl and in form of dub plates 45's ,LP's until the birth of the CDs .Kingdavid is Currently running Reggae Ambassadors Sound alongside King Blak in Botswana.
