Behind The Music Radio was established by four inspired ethnomusicologists who met in the music department at SOAS (London University's School of Oriental and African Studies). While studying for their masters they produced radio shows for SOAS radio, focussing in particular on the SOAS concert series which showcased music from around the world. Performers would come into the SOAS radio studio and share their passion and knowledge of the music from their part of the world. Now it is going global and made available for lovers of music from around the world.
