Doug Moreland, Jomo Edwards, Stoney Gabel and Beau Smith gather each week at Doug's chainsaw art gallery in downtown Manchaca, Texas to bring you an in-depth, unique and entertaining show that explores the stories behind the songs and songwriters we all know and love. This show takes a laid-back and conversational approach to storytelling, with the hosts throwing caution and radio scripts to the wind.

The show also dares to go beyond boring biographies and explore the rhymes, reasons, roots, and rumors that made each of our favorite songwriters stand out from the crowd.

Each episode typically features a different artist known (and sometimes unknown) for his or her songwriting skills, and aims to showcase their diversity with b sides, live cuts and the not-necessarily-hits. The show also features a smattering of special and sometimes unscheduled guest musicians, historians, experts and all-around interesting folks.
