Before we get started with this episode of beat buffet, we would like to give a land acknowledgement. We acknowledge the many diverse groups of Indigenous Peoples to be the traditional stewards of the land of so-called Brazil, and we recognize that Brazil is an ongoing settler colonial project that exploits stolen land and Black and Brown peoples.
