My first exposure to electronic music was the soundtracks to classic video games like Streets of Rage II and The Chaos Engine. However, Music for the Jilted Generation was the record that lit a fire in my head. During the 90's, I collected breakbeat, trance and hard house records obsessively, making mixtapes for my college mates on my Trusty Newmark mixer. The React Test Samplers and Reactivate series were early influences and then nights out at Gatecrasher, the Wicker Arches and Sundissential steared me towards harder sounds for a while (living 5 minutes from Tidytrax HQ was a bonus too).
I've recently rekindled my passion for energetic melodic hard dance after a good friend digitised our combined CD and Vinyl collection and kindly shared everything.
All mixes currently produced on FL Studio (cheating, I know, but effective once you create good templates).
