BASIL ISAAC (BLACK II BASIC)
Has been an established musician for the last 35 years,
DJing and playing Percussion for a whole host of artists and styles, ranging from Deep Funk, Soul, Salsa Soulful House, Deep Latin Afro Beat, funk Groove,
My first ever tour was with the band Underworld, which led to him playing with other artists such as Des’ree, Joyce Sims, Basement Jaxx, Pevon Everett Master at work and Robert Owen as a Percussionist to name just a few, while also continuing to perform and orchestrate his own live DJ Percussion sets in London. Playing at most of the Festivals in England, Cross the Tracks (heritage stage), V Festival, Glastonbury ,Electric Picnic, T In The Park, keeping what he does fresh and always evolving. Basil also came together with his long time friend of over 20 years Maxi Jazz (Faithles) with New Band E-TYPE BOYS. Currently you can find me Djing with SYCK at many venues around London.
