What started as a basement party phenomenon, Basic Physics has evolved into an up and coming electro DJ contingent from Minneapolis, MN. Having already played with the likes of Lotus, Big Gigantic, Orchard Lounge, and DJ Logic, Basic Physics (Alex Syse and Eric Mitchell) flavors the electronic / electro disco music scene while adding in creative samples from multiple genres of music. There big break came earlier this summer when they released “Stuntin’ with a Milli” to the blogosphere. Within days, the track hit #1 on the hype machine music charts and opened up numerous doors. They have released numerous mash-ups, remixes, and originals. They are currently in the studio working on brand new original material, as well as compiling there track list for the highly anticipated “Nightlife in the Northwoods” Mixtape The Mixtape combining originals, remixes and mash-ups is expected to drop for free in late December.
