DR. NOX is a Dutch DJ with roots deep in psychedelic trance.

His musical journey started at age 13 as a drummer and percussionist. About ten years later he discovered electronic music and psytrance, and DR. NOX was born.

He became active in the Dutch underground scene, organising psytrance events and playing at events including Pandemonium, Hemeltrancevaart, Ruigoord / TOE, Combined Forces and DAF.

From 2018 he explored house, techno, deep house and minimal under a different concept: Bart-C.

But psychedelic never really disappeared.

After years of exploring other styles, DR. NOX has returned — not out of nostalgia, but through an awakening.

For him, psychedelic is more than music. It is the world between dream and reality: strange, familiar, hypnotic and full of energy.
