I've been a DJ for nearly half my life - fuck. Started DJ'ing in a club called 'The Venue' in Glasgow around 20 years ago, then started a wee club night called 'The Cathouse' in Hollywood Studios (Brown Street) that grew up to become the biggest rock club in Glasgow. BUT, that was then and this is now :D
Classic Grand is open 4 nights a week, with more nights to follow very soon, but I'll keep this profile updated as events unfold. Latest achievement is, becoming co owner of the Classic Grand along with Luigi Aseni. The Classic Grand is the only alternative club in Glasgow EVERY Weekend and now the biggest rock club in Scotland. We pride ourselves on playing alternative music, not mainstream chart pish.
I like to redraw the boundaries of alternative DJ'ing, then smash them up and start again. NO playlists. NO limits. NO fuckin sell out!
